A number of the company's executives have worked in both the public and private sectors - focused largely in the area of clinical diagnostics. The company's mission is to establish Accumetrics' suite of products as the standard of care in tailoring medical therapy to the benefit of patients at risk of cardiovascular disease.

Tony Arnerich, CEO & Chief Investment Officer, Arnerich Massena & Associates Inc.

Mr. Arnerich is the Founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Arnerich Massena since 1991. Tony's experience in the investment industry spans more than 25 years, during which he served as an investment executive and helped found the Investment Management Consulting Group of Dain Bosworth. In prior years, Mr. Arnerich owned and managed businesses in the Pacific Northwest. He earned a B.A. from the University of Santa Clara.

Timothy Still, President and Chief Executive Officer, Accumetrics Inc.

Mr. Still's background includes over 19 years of sales, marketing and business development experience in healthcare and medical diagnostics. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing highly focused sales and marketing strategies within both large and small companies. Prior to Accumetrics, Mr. Still was Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for HemoSense, a medical diagnostic company located in San Jose, California. He was instrumental in building HemoSense into a rapidly growing, publicly traded company (AMEX: HEM) which was acquired by Inverness Medical in November 2007. Before joining HemoSense, Mr. Still served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cholestech Corporation, and served in a variety of sales, marketing and business development roles for Boehringer Mannheim Corporation (now Roche Diagnostics).Mr. Still received a B.S. degree (with Honors) in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Davis, and an MBA (Deans Scholar) in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California.

Alan M. Sebulsky, Managing Partner, Apothecary Capital, LLC

Since 2003, Alan Sebulsky has served as a Managing Partner of Apothecary Capital LLC, an investment advisory firm specializing in health care. From 2002 to 2003, he was an independent investor. From 1994 to 2002, Alan held various positions, most recently as a Managing Director, at Lincoln Capital Management, a private investment management firm, where he was responsible for investments in the health care industry. Prior to that he was a Managing Director and an Institutional Investor ranked analyst at Morgan Stanley following pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Alan received a B.B.A. and an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Cynthia Doerr, M.D., Partner, Essex Woodlands Health Ventures

Dr. Doerr currently serves as a Partner at Essex Woodland Health Ventures. From 1995 to 2000, she worked predominantly as a solo, private practice pediatric infectious disease specialist and hospital epidemiologist, in San Antonio, Texas. During her tenure she was instrumental in independently developing an Infection Control Department and served as Chief of Epidemiology at Methodist Children's Hospital, the majority market share pediatric hospital in central Texas. Dr. Doerr holds a B.S. and M.D. from the University of Nebraska. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, with a subsequent fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Jack Lief, Co-Founder, Chairman, President & CEO, Arena Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Jack Lief is a co-founder of Arena and currently serves as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. From 1995 to April 1997, Mr. Lief served as an advisor and consultant to numerous biopharmaceutical organizations. From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Lief served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Secretary of Cephalon, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company. From 1983 to 1989, Mr. Lief served as Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning for Alpha Therapeutic Corporation. Mr. Lief joined Abbott Laboratories in 1972, where he served until 1983, most recently as the head of International Marketing Research. Mr. Lief serves as a member of the board of directors of Adventrx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Lief is also an Executive Board Member of BIOCOM, a life science industry association representing more than 550 member companies in Southern California, and was the Chairman of the board of directors of BIOCOM from March 2005 to March 2006. Mr. Lief holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.S. in Psychology (Experimental and Neurobiology) from Lehigh University.

Jay W. Schmelter, Managing Director, RiverVest Venture

Jay Schmelter is a managing director and co-founder of RiverVest®. Drawing on his combination of operating, investment banking and venture capital experience, Jay works closely with entrepreneurs as a sounding board and mentor. Prior to his transition to venture capital, Jay worked as an equity research analyst at Piper Jaffray & Co., where he focused on cardiovascular-related medical device stocks. He was also a marketing executive for Medtronic, Inc. Jay is founder and chairman of the board of Salient Surgical; director of Accumetrics, Inc., IDev Technologies, Inc., Tryton Medical Inc., and Lutonix, Inc. He is a former director of Velocimed, LLC, which was sold to St. Jude Medical in 2005. Jay received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Robert S. Hillman PH.D., Chief Development Officer, Automedics Medical Systems, Inc.

In addition to being a board member, Dr. Hillman is also a consultant to Accumetrics. Dr. Hillman co-founded Accumetrics and served as Executive Vice President and President from 1995-1999. He later served in various roles as Chairman, President and CEO of Accumetrics from 2003-2008. During his tenure, he led the management team and investors in the re-acquisition of Accumetrics from Radiometer. Dr. Hillman co-founded Angiosyn Inc. and also was a co-founder and Founding President & CEO of ActivX Biosciences. Prior to that, Dr. Hillman held senior management positions in companies including Gensia Pharmaceuticals, Biotrack and Syva Company. Dr. Hillman holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Stanford University, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Chemical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich.

Thomas Klopack, President & CEO, Automedics Medical Systems, Inc.

Thomas G. Klopack is the President and CEO of Automedics Medical Systems, Inc. Mr. Klopack's extensive background includes 35 years of experience in various strategic and operational roles with leading edge, rapid-growth technology companies, ranging from multinational suppliers to startups, in more than 20 industries. Prior to joining Automedics Medical Systems, Mr. Klopack was President and CEO of IntelliDOT and also held management positions in biotechnology as the COO of Aurora Biosciences in San Diego, and most recently as CEO of Aclara Biosciences in Mountain View, CA. Previously, he spent nearly two decades in various roles at Raychem Corporation. Mr. Klopack holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
